I absolutely agree! Our shelter has a nine month Domestic Violence Recovery Program that is inpatient and free to our clients and is intensive in education & counseling. However, we put a lot of emphasis on educating the public whenever we are given the opportunity. We also use other outlets such as social media, alumni support groups, fund raisers, etc. to educate the community on Domestic Violence.
